Hello friends and family. We haven't been very good at staying in touch with everyone, and we are hoping that this will make it a little easier. Here is an update as of October 15, 2007.
Ryan is still working for T-mobile as a Tier 2 PDA Technical Care Representative; which means that he spends all day on the phone listening to people complain about why their phone isn't working and then fixes it for them. It is a good job, but somewhat frustrating, especially since he wasn't able to go to church for most of the 14 months he has worked there. However, his schedule has just changed so that he is working from 5:15 PM to 2:00 AM, making it possible for him to attend church meetings. (Hooray!) He has been called as the Batismal Font Coordinator, which consists of scheduling baptisms and filling the font for all the wards in the stake. He is hoping to start up school very soon either in Rexburg again or here in New Mexico. He hopes to finish a degree in art and then find a job doing said art for a video game company. In his spare time he hacks xboxes for friends and family.
Sarah is very busy chasing Lizzie and catering to Aislins demands. She has several cross stitch projects in varying degrees of completion as well as some unfinished scrap books. Having become fed up with trying to find quality clothing at a price she can afford that fits and is something she would actually want to wear, she has decided to learn to sew, and maybe even design some of her own clothing pieces. She is excited to have Ryan be able to come to church again so that the ward will no longer think she is a single mom. She enjoys a calling as the Young Women Music Specialist helping the young women of her ward with all their musical needs, including producing a play last year. She spends her spare time...wait, what spare time?
Lizzie just turned three and received a pink bike for her birthday. She has not yet learned to ride it, but loves to sit on it and have someone pull her around. Her favorite show is "Super Why" on PBS. She is a very big help with her new little sister, and is only slightly jealous of her. Her favorite color is pink and she loves princesses. She wants her mom to put her in a dance class.
Aislin is growing like crazy. You would never guess that she had been early, except she does seem rather small compared to the other babies in the ward. She is such a happy baby and will even laugh if your joke is funny enough. She eats almost non-stop and keeps her mom up past midnight almost every night.
We are all well and happy and hope you are all the same. Stay tuned for further posts and updates.
